Privacy
Policy
Our promise on how we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Our privacy promise
The World’s Finest Clubs (WFC) takes your privacy seriously. This policy sets out the basis on which personal data we collect — or that you provide to us — will be processed by us. Please read it carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data.
We review this policy regularly and will post updated versions at finestclubs.com. We may also notify you of changes by email. This policy was last reviewed and updated in June 2026.
While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide a superior members’ concierge experience, our most important asset is our members’ trust. Keeping your data secure, and using it only as you would expect, is a top priority at the World’s Finest Clubs.
Information we collect
When you register on our platform — either directly or through third-party providers — we collect personal information such as your name, email address, country of origin, location, occupation, photos, social media accounts and other data you choose to upload or enter. This data is provided by you, or shared via a connected social media service, when becoming a WFC member or using the WFC service. Your credit card number and payment details are stored exclusively by our third-party payment providers and never by us.
We may also collect technical data about your use of the platform — including your IP address, Internet Service Provider (ISP), login frequency, pages visited and the browser or device you are using, logged automatically on our server files.
When you complete forms for optional promotions, RSVP for events, or submit concierge and support requests, we may collect additional personal information. We keep records of your communications and may use third-party service providers — such as email systems and CRM platforms — to help resolve issues. When you use the WFC app, you may share your location to help us optimise your experience, surface nearby venues and events, and personalise your newsletter.
To facilitate concierge requests — such as table bookings at member clubs — you may authorise WFC to provide your data to the relevant partner. Any such exchange happens solely for the fulfilment of your request.
Surveys are periodically conducted to help us improve our service; all responses remain confidential. Any information you share in public areas of the platform may become publicly visible — please exercise caution.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies on our platform to recognise you and provide a consistent, personalised experience. By continuing to use the platform or app, you agree to our use of cookies.
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers stored on your browser or device that helps us recognise you. We use the following four categories:
Third-party providers — such as analytics services — may also set cookies over which we have no direct control. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your settings to block them. Please note that blocking essential cookies may limit your access to parts of the platform and the experience may be affected.
Why we collect information
Information collected may be used to: provide and continuously improve our concierge service and platform; process membership applications and bookings; handle billing, identification and authentication; analyse platform usage for statistical and product improvement purposes; send administrative and informative communications relevant to your membership; conduct internal research; troubleshoot problems; detect and prevent fraudulent or criminal activity; share with contracted third-party service providers who are bound by our privacy restrictions; and enforce our Terms of Service.
Who we share with
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group — including subsidiaries and holding companies — for operational and outsourcing purposes. Any third-party contractors who process data on our behalf are bound by our privacy policy or equivalent restrictions.
Partners may sponsor exclusive member offers, promotions or events that require you to share personal information to participate. We will never disclose private member data — including your email address — to any partner without your prior express consent. Where required, members must opt in or agree to specific terms on the relevant partner’s platform. We always advise you to review partners’ own privacy policies before sharing information.
We may also disclose personal information: in the event of a business sale or acquisition; to identify or take action against someone violating our Terms of Service or causing harm to our members or WFC; if required by any applicable law or legal obligation; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our members or others. In the event that you raise a payment dispute, we may provide your bank or card provider with supporting transaction data.
Communications
By using the platform, you consent to WFC and its partners (where you have provided your email or consented to sharing it) sending you communications about goods, services, events and other information relevant to your membership. Our newsletter is an integral part of the WFC membership experience.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing [email protected]. You may similarly opt back in by emailing [email protected].
On rare occasions, we will send essential communications — such as changes to this policy, membership confirmations or payment receipts — that do not include an unsubscribe option, as these are one-time transactional messages.
If you have provided your postal address, you may receive mailings about new products and services. To opt out, email [email protected] with your exact name, email address and postal address.
Where we store your data
Our main servers for registered members are provided by third-party cloud services. Data we collect may be transferred to and stored outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (EEA) — including, but not limited to, the United Kingdom and the United States of America — by us or our service providers. By using our platform, you consent to this transfer and storage.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely and in accordance with this policy and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. The transfer or storage of your data outside Switzerland and the EEA does not diminish your rights under applicable law, and we will ensure it is protected to an equivalent standard.
Data retention
WFC may retain your information following deactivation or termination of your membership to enable reactivation and ensure you continue to benefit from relevant communications. If you de-register from all WFC services, we may retain certain data for backup, archival, audit, fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes, for as long as required by applicable law.
We will delete personal data upon written request in line with the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR and equivalent local regulations. We will also correct inaccurate personal data upon request under Art. 16 GDPR. To make either request, email [email protected].
We regularly review our data collection, storage and processing practices — including physical security measures — to protect against unauthorised access. Access to personal data is limited to WFC employees, contractors and agents who require it for their duties, all of whom are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.
Your rights & data access
The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, GDPR and other applicable local regulations give you the right to access personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), to request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR), and to withdraw consent to certain processing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected].
On occasion, we may use your personal information for new, unanticipated purposes not previously disclosed in this policy. In such cases, we will notify you by email. If you do not object in writing within ten (10) days of notification, the change will be considered accepted. We will not retroactively apply new data collection practices to previously collected data.
